Substitute Permit for Prospective Teachers

1. Official transcripts from a regionally-accredited, four-year California University verifying the completion of at least 90 semester units of coursework;
2. Verification of current enrollment in a regionally-accredited four-year California university by an original letter from the registrar of the office of admissions, or official transcripts showing current work-in-progress; and
3. Verification of Basic Skills Exam.

Emergency 30-Day Substitute Permit

1. Official transcripts showing the conferral of a bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally-accredited college or university; and
2. Verification of Basic Skills Exam.
